The word god has taken a universal meaning, giving rise to madness. The justification of evil men to afflict harm against others. These are acts of deception. It is not of God. Look at your life, from conception to birth and into adulthood. It is a marvelous plan, with wondrous details and uniqueness. This is the work of a loving God. Who gives life and not destroy life. Whatsoever your life is now; He is willing to give you a better life. A relationship, not religion.
A relationship requires time. Time to grow, and learn. Moreover, to experience the love of God. There are no self-imposed rules and regulations to have a relationship with God, just love and faith.
Religious leaders will give you a list of rules and regulations, claiming it is the path to God, but their true intention is to control you. God's way is through Jesus Christ. Your acknowledgment of who He is and His love for you, is the beginning of a new life. A relationship requires communication, and prayer is simply a communication with God. The declaration of your faith is the prayer you will pray after you accept the Lord into your heart. It is a sinner's prayer for your salvation. To experience His amazing grace. God does not leave a person to find their way to Him by themselves. Instead, He provided all the means to reach Him. Even the Prayer for acknowledging His plan for salvation is found in His Words. (Romans 10:9) That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved. In other words, acknowledge who He is and what He did for you and believe these words as follow.
Dear God in Heaven, I come to You in the name of Jesus. I'm sorry for the way I've lived the things I've done. Please forgive me and cleanse me with your precious Blood from all unrighteousness. According to your Words (Romans 10:9) I believe in my heart God raised Jesus from the dead and He is alive. With my mouth I confess the Lord Jesus Christ as the Savior of my soul, at this very moment I accept Him as the Lord of my life. Right now, according to God’s word which cannot lie. I'm washed, I'm saved, I'm born again. I thank you Lord Jesus for dying on the Cross to give me a new life, an eternal life. Teach me your way that I may follow. Amen.
