Is Time Travel real? The possibility of an answer to such question is primarily based on the source of the definition. In other words, it depends on who's answering the question.
Time is unique, it can be experienced from multiple perceptions.
As a noun, time is a place, the past, present and the future.
As a verb, time is a measurement; you can't see it, but its effects are felt.
In order to fully experience time, it must be experienced as a noun and a verb. (As stated above) Meaning, we are in the present, and through the measuring of time as a verb, we will eventually experience the future. When the future is the present, time automatically creates a past.
This is a progression we progress with, based on time. So, in essence, we travel through time, or we Time Travel.
In addition, with the human brain that which we experienced, the mind can revisit the past while being in the present. The mind can also get a glimpse of what the future holds, while still in the present.
The degree of clarity is limited for the lack of use of the human brain to its full God’s given ability. The expectation of the use of the human brain is only 10 percent out of 100 in its fullness. For the majority, only 5 percent of the brain in its mental capacity is used. 90 to 95 percent of the human brain is unutilized, imagine if only 50 percent was used.
However, for others, their expectation or perceptions of Time Travel consist of the body as a whole being transported to another time frame, the past, or the present. Nevertheless, if “Time Travel” from this perspective is possible, it is not in the ability of human beings who are only using less than 10 percent of the mental capacity of the brain, to make it happen.
Imagine an Artist, with a blank sheet of paper and a pencil, thereon He draws a horizontal line across the paper from left to right. The line represents time, within that line is humanity. The Artist represents God, He is the Creator of time. Therefore, He is not limited by time, He sees it all at once. However, we are within the limit of “the line of time.” We cannot see beyond time, nor experience any further from what we perceive before us, unless through the Intervention of the Author of the line.
Can modern man reach out to the Author of the line of time, to experience beyond his perception?
Knowledge comes with the desire to learn, the hope of that which is not yet present, but the desire to obtain through the revelation of the mine. This is God’s definition of Faith, to be sure of the things we hope for, to be certain of the things we cannot see. However, modern man contrives the opposite, if I cannot see it, I will not believe it, said modern man. Consequently, in spite of technological advancements, the driving force of man, which is the soul and spirit is deprived and limited in his unbelief for the unseen.
Must a baby understand all the dynamics of a family, provision and protection before it trust its parents? No, it trusts its parents to receive the needed substance of life as a means of growth, so it grows into an adult. On the contrary, the modern man, faithless idea of “sees before I believe” has caused a stunt to the soul and spirit which are the driving force of who we are. Therefore, society as we know it, will never experience the fullness of many things which are possible.
But without faith it is impossible to please Him: for he that comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.
(Hebrews 11:6)
The Bible does not oppose Science. True Science is the search for the truth, but when Science is erected as a religion to oppose the Bible, then the search of the truth has turned into a platform to attack the God of Truth, due to a rebellious mind-set with a degree of understanding kindle with pride.
These topics and others are found in the scriptures to a degree. The problem is, for the majority of believers, they assume that Science opposes the Bible, so they oppose Science.
Whereas, many in the Science community of today have erected Science as a religion. Therefore, instead of searching for the Truth, they oppress the Truth through vain big words, for the explanation of things, so their fellow man cannot understand, as a way to present themselves as wise.
Mathematician, physicist, astronomer, Isaac Newton, once wrote, “There are more sure marks of authenticity in the Bible than in any profane history”
Indeed, he was right.
Let us note, the presence of the truth we seek and more, when they are seen in the Bible, it is not for a recreational purpose. Instead, it is for the benefit of all, to the glory of God.
Can the human body physically disappear and travel within time and space, from one point to another instantly? Such was the Record of Philip the apostle, upon teaching an Ethiopian the Word of God and baptizing him. The Scripture recalls, Philip was instantly transported out of the water from their location, to Azotus, about 25 miles. Furthermore, we have the record of John the beloved, on the isle of Patmos.
(Revelation 4:1) After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will show you things which must be hereafter. (future)
Through this, John was able to see, feel and experience some events of the future. One may suggest, well, wasn’t it a vision?
The word door used in the verse above, with its original meaning in the Greek language, it Implies more than a vision. The word is thura – meaning a portal.
John looked and he saw, but what is modern man looking for? Not for God, but for self and the pleasing of an ever-growing ego. Today, men desire to travel to space and the planets, but for what cause? To be the first, how does it benefit the many? None, but said the modern man, I was the first.
As humanity remains in the line of time, but they are trapped in the bonds of unbelief.
Seeing they see, but they understand not. Hearing they hear, but they do not listen. Living they live, but without life for the lack of joy because they rejected the Truth.
In the words of Galileo Galilei, the Astronomer, discoverer of the four massive moons of Jupiter and the father of modern physics, he wrote; I am inclined to think that the authority of Holy Scripture (Bible) is intended to convince men of those truths which are necessary for their salvation, which, being far above man's understanding, cannot be made credible by any learning, or any other means than revelation by the Holy Spirit.
Gone are the days when men of Science recognize God as the source for their answers, therefore, they give to society tremendous contributions.
Today, the Contribution of science and the wise is predicated upon “things,” rather than the soul and the spirit of man which lives forever.
Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
(1 Corinthians 2:9)
Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools.
I hope I'm using more than 5% of my brain haha
Profound responds and lecture than I thought, when I first saw the question, no offense Eric :-) The question and answer came together nicely.
