The first Passover was observed around 1,400 BC, the night before the Israelites came out of their captivity.
As “Easter” commemorates Christ’s Resurrection, may this day mark the transition for you, when you are free from those things that have held you back.
At times, those things we desperately try to preserve are the very things that are preventing us from experiencing the change that we need.
A seed has to let go of its hard exterior and be temporarily forgotten, until the outer shell is no longer an obstacle, then a new tender plant springs forth, and a new bountiful life begins.
One became the ultimate sacrifice for all. Now, today all it takes is faith in Him. Lord, I can’t, but you can, help me. Help my doubts that I may believe.
As Christ is risen, so shall you be risen above all your problems.
Happy Easter.
