Many problems, one same solution.

Casting all your care upon him; for he cares for you. Peter 5:7

A thousand years before the verse above was writing, the preceding verse was inscribed.

Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and He shall sustain thee: He shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.

Psalms 55:22

Whatever your problems are, His promises are still the same, and He can handle it for you and He cares greatly about you.

Lord this is my problems. (State the problems) But I give it all to you that I may receive your peace and wisdom. In Jesus name, the name above all names, amen.

Follow up on Ephesians 6

Just a little nugget insight which make us appreciate the details in the Word of God.

It's fascinating how every detail in the Word holds meaning. In Ephesians 6, Paul mentions Tychicus, calling him "... Tychicus, the beloved brother and faithful minister in the Lord, will tell you everything."

Interestingly, Tychicus's name means "fortunate." When we align ourselves with the Lord, as the preceding verses encourage us to do, we experience His favor. How fitting that the man chosen to share more with the Christians is named "fortunate" or "favored." 😊

What a blessing it is to grow in the Lord! 🙌🏻🙏🏻 His favor will always find us, teach us, and encourage us. God bless you.

And remember to work everyday. What you do for the Lord, is your calling, regardless of the scope or urgency, be a light in this word to someone, closer to you, or far away,…

Tail Wags & True Hearts: A Canine Ode to Loyalty

Loyalty is not measured by the length of time, but by the persistence of its unwavering presence. A dog may not always be by our side, but the echo of their loyal heart resonates forever. As Mark Twain eloquently observed:

"The more I learn of people, the more I like my dog."

Mark Twain's insightful observation truly hits home. It highlights the unwavering loyalty we often find in animals, a quality that can sometimes feel rare in the complexities of human interactions.

Ambushed by Envy: When Success Breeds Adversaries, Trust in God's Salvation

For, lo, they lie in wait for my soul: the mighty are gathered against me; not for my transgression, nor for my sin, O LORD. Psalms 59:3

In today's terminology, that is to say:

See, they are waiting to ambush me; powerful people are plotting against me, not because of any wrongdoing or sin on my part, O Lord.

Art Gallery Update

The new drawing, is about the importance of homecooked meal and the sharing thereof.

It might take a little while to locate it in the gallery. The description is below.

Anyone can put on a suit and fancy clothes to dine on food bought from a vendor they do not know, hoping to impress someone they have yet to know. But the few who choose to be themselves, in goof, all is told. In simplicity they reveal themselves.

Nourishment is not for the show, as intimacy is shared between two souls. Their meal preparation is intimate at its best, with a playful dance, a loving jest. Beef on his fork, and sweets in her bowl, as the pot steams and rolls.

Sabbath: A Tapestry of Rest

A painting I completed during the weekend.

Check the gallery tomorrow for the painting.

Sabbath: A Tapestry of Rest

In the stillness of the Sabbath, the world pauses to reveal its profound beauty. The land, air, and waters, created so long ago, remain steadfast, sustaining us through our daily lives. On this day of rest, the waters transform, shimmering and rippling, guiding the observant to a place of serenity.

Daytime, Nighttime, and Timeless Prayer: Embracing God’s Lovingkindness: A reflection of Psalms 42:8

Yet the LORD will command his lovingkindness in the daytime, and in the night his song shall be with me, and my prayer unto the God of my life.

Psalms 42:8

The three partitions of which we have to share in and continue therein. Observe: The daytime, the nighttime are both set in a time frame, night and day, but prayer is without a fixed time.

As you read this, being awake this morning, it is because the Lord has commanded His lovingkindness toward you, in the daytime. If you are about to fall into the slumber of sleep. Likewise, “the LORD will command his lovingkindness in the daytime that is to come.”

And when all is quiet, but the depth of your thoughts flooding your mind at night, for the Lord’s loving kindness during the day, may your lips be a portal from your inner being wherewith songs…

Stillwaters

When burdens are laid, decisions are made.

Steadfast is the deep-thinking mind, in the contemplation of those decisions that are made. Such a mind, though it bears its troubles, is like deep waters, not easily disturbed.

Not all storms are seen on the surface, but beyond every storm is the Master of the storm, that even the storm obeys, from turbulence to calm, knowing He lives inside of me.

Beside me, those that look up to me, a silent companion, shares too in the stillness of the Master.

Reaction, Mindset, Goal, and Accountability

Running the Race to Win and Fighting the Fight for the Knockout Blow

Paul wrote these letters to the Corinthians while he was in Ephesus, which is in present-day Turkey, and the recipients were in Corinth, which is in present-day Greece. Around AD 53-55, he encouraged the Corinthians to live disciplined and purposeful lives, much like athletes who train rigorously to win a prize.

So how does this relate to us today? Let’s dive into the verses as they were written, and then explore their equivalence in today’s modern vernacular.

But everyone striving controls himself in all things. Then those truly that they may receive a corruptible crown, but we an incorruptible. So I run accordingly, as not uncertainly; so I fight, as not beating air; but I buffet my body and lead it captive, lest proclaiming to others I myself might be disapproved.” 1…

Those who encounter love in the fullness of their years, having never basked in its glow, are confronted with their deepest fears upon its unveiling. The terror of losing this newfound treasure transforms them into their own adversaries, besieged by a tempest of worry and anxiety.
