The deeper understanding of words.
Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established.
(Proverbs 16:3 KJV)
Commit - Seek by trusting
Thy works - All things
Unto - under, never above
The LORD - The existing One, ever liveth, ever provider and Lord.
Thy thoughts - Thoughts without God, is mere imagination, but with God it becomes a purpose of which He shall bring to pass.
Shall be Established - Direct and provide for, and furnish.
Therefore, to commit to the Lord isn’t a one attempt experiment, nor will the establishment be made manifest instantly. However, we seek - this is the awareness of that which is not yet present, but the persistence to lay hold of that which we desire.
So then, though the human mind at times cannot comprehend that which is at hand, nevertheless, let us present all things unto the Lord, by presenting all things under His care. If the problem we faced is our focus, we in essence have lifted the problem above us. The burden needlessly will be bear, but that which is laid under the care of the Lord, is no longer a burden, but a stepping stone for progression.
Progressing by seeing more of God and less of ourselves. Trust in His will, and not our ability. Then we shall be established by His will.
He shall direct us to that which we seek
Provide that which we desire, and furnish that we receive.
