The Deception of the occult, to blend with Christianity.

Through divination, foretelling and the likes.

Before the Christian dive unknowingly into these things, he or she ought to know the reason for the Word of God toward men. In a nutshell, the Bible served as the account of man’s redemption from a fallen state, to a place of excellence. Wherewith mankind once began, but due to the degradation of sin, physically, mentally and spiritually, the essence of being a human has eroded the human race to a place of detrimental erosion and decline; of which our mind cannot fully comprehend how great man and woman were once created. However, through the revelation of the Scriptures, comes understanding. Not an instantaneous understanding of all things, but therein the individual is set on a path to know right from wrong and the truth from deception. Without which, the human race cannot clearly see what wretched state it is in. Therefore, it’s vulnerable to another influence, other than God. For how can they perceive, if they know not that they were created by God, in love and perfection to be in union with Him?

Within all humanity is the unawareness of the desire to return to the original state before the fallen state. Every innovation and breakthrough, in technology, medical, artistry or self-awareness, it is not because mankind is great. Rather, this is the unknown awareness of greatness within the human race that was once lost and it is now attempted to be regained, but in this process, there is good and there is bad.

The beginning of all things was good, for God is the first cause, but due to the corruption of some things, bad was separated from the good. This separation of bad from good, was the fall of Satan and the host of other angelic beings. This is not to be confused with the fall of mankind in Eden.

Now, with the separation of good and bad, in-between is a chasm. As it was through pride, Satan fell. Mankind fell through disobedience. Between good and bad, lies the human race in its fallen state. On the side of good, is God, reaching out to fallen man to pull humanity from a state of depravity to a restored place of God conscience and the understanding of all that is good. On the side of bad, is Satan and the host of fallen angels, in an attempt to deceive and destroy the fallen human race.

Their intentions are evil, and the means of which it is carry out is diabolical, but their abilities that are now corrupted were once given to them by God to be used for good. So, at times, some of these abilities are presented to mankind as deception, wherewith they appear to be angels of light.

Such examples as levitation, they covertly twist scriptures and say, Christ ascended to Heaven, therefore levitation is Scripture. Another is apportation - the ability to teleport inanimate objects or beings from one location to another. Again, they will twist the truth with deception, and allege, Philip of Acts, a man of God was bodily transported in space and time, in an instance from one location to another (Acts 8:39-40) therefore, apportation is just fine they alleged

Or astral projection – a term of an occultly understanding wherewith the human body is separated through an out-of-body experience. The physical body is stationed in one place, while the awareness of the individual is removed from the shell of the body to explore other places, or another dimensions. This alone is occultly and mystical, nevertheless, they will cunningly equate the apostle Paul experience of 2 Corinthians 12:2 to such mystical act.

When we speak of the pronoun “they,” in reference to fallen angels and Satan, this does not mean these forces of darkness will always appear as human, but their influence is present even through another human at times.

So then, even if these mystical acts and deeds are argued to be found in the Scriptures, in an attempt to validate the occult, but to whom is the glory, God or the occult? Such as psychic, spiritist and their spiritism, their origin is not of God, but from the source of which was once long ago separated as bad from the good. So, to this cause and the acceptance therein, the end result leads not to God, as this source is from that which is bad. Ultimately, they that follow shall gravitate toward the side of the separation which is bad, and the end result is not a union of fellowship with God, but to those fallen angels.

For God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment. (2 Peter 2:4)

Thus, we are told, you shall not attend to those who have in them divining spirits, nor attach yourselves to enchanters, to pollute yourselves with them: I am the Lord your God.

(Leviticus 19:31)

Of these, having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
