- Unity in Prayer. In General discussions ·June 24, 2019. We could say that all Christians have a time of prayer and communication with God, at some time of the day or situation that we face. But what is the purpose of prayer: it can be said in the light of the Bible to unite with God, to have communion and a friendship with God, that God answers our requests, these are two main reasons, but there are more ... We are at a time when we prefer to show others that we have a prayer for a brother in Christ, a family member, or simply someone who is willing to pray for you without any interest. Can we be without strength, without encouragement to continue, with extreme situations on the verge of suicide, or point of committing sin in God's future, situations for the future? Help, to obtain the goals in God. Matthew 18: 19-20.! If two were in agreement, in unity in one mind! The enemy is the one who is not interested in the unity among his people, among the children of God, he does not want us to unite to resist the trials, the temptations and to pass the desert or simply to obtain supernatural victories in your life, for the glory of God. We prefer to drown in our anguish, our problems and tribulations alone, even if we are Christians and have brothers in the faith. Jesus in the chapter of Matthew 6: 5-15, taught us a model of prayer, but there is a verse that stands out and attracts attention. The Lord said in plural "AND DO NOT TARGET US IN TEMPTATION, BREAK US FROM EVIL". The prayer apart from joining God, also its purpose is to unite with the congregation, with the brother, with the husband, the wife, the friend, even in the work area, this goes beyond what we understand, Amos 3 :3. Can two walk together, except they be agreed?, Psalm 133: 1, Look how good and how delicious it is to live the brothers together in harmony, spiritual harmony that is what God is most interested in, because through that spiritual unity, the other areas will take the form, the model of God as Jesus did (Father-son-Holy Spirit), Jesus always demonstrated unity, from the first moment he began his work to the cross, I look for who could be a support, help a consolation in the midst of the whole crowd. We see the story of Moses, Aaron and Hur, in the war against Amalek Exodus 17: 8-16, God gave a powerful victory, example of unity, of God's support in the unity of one mind in the Spirit. Moses had his hands tired could not with his hands, it is impossible to have our hands raised for a long time without a help or support to sustain them is what God wanted to show us our burdens can never be carried alone because if we are lacking in Faith, someone who is exercised in prayer and faith will help you in an effective and spiritual way without any doubt. We should not doubt when we have any situation, small or big to pray for one another, in Mark 14: 32:42, Jesus asked his disciples to watch and pray with him. Why he knew what he would face, we see here that he said he needs the help of his brothers and friends at that moment. In the midst of the pain, of the anguish and suffering that came to his life, he knew his weaknesses in his flesh, his humanity. One of the ways that we can help each other as brothers is in Prayer, in unity, in the same spirit, let's not doubt when we need a friend, a brother that we can support in Prayer, that can feel in his heart the same feeling in prayer before the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Amen. Glory to God for his ways.15580

- Galatians 2:20In A variety of Expositions ·October 17, 2018I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. Living by faith in Christ Without which the Christian experience is saved, but a misery living. On the contrary, the proper understanding of living by faith in Christ is the path to a victorious living. The text of our study comes from Galatians 2:20. Herein to live by faith in Christ is expressed more precisely than anywhere else in Scripture. Without exalting one verse above the other, but recognizing the importance of its understanding, will set the believer on a path of living by faith, the only true victory for the believer. Historical insight The book of Galatians bears its name from its geographical location, Galatia, the equivalence of the present-day country of Turkey. Written from Rome, about 68 A.D. by the Apostle Paul, to the people of Galatia, the Galatians. During this time Galatia was now a province of Rome. Galatia and its ancient religion were of extreme corruption and superstitious. They are said to have worshiped the mother of their gods under the name of Agdistis. Their prisoners of war were used as human sacrifices, they were people of valor, but valor without morality isn’t decency among the people, neither their attitude toward others serves as civil. Historians mentioned them as impetuous people, tall and valiant people, who went nearly naked and used for arms only a sword and buckler. Due to their impetuosity attack, this generally made them victorious. Nevertheless, what shall it profit a man if he gains the whole world but loses his own soul? In such environment and mind-set, the apostle Paul by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit did establish the churches of Galatia. How many? We do not know, but the effect of the Gospel was felt and did changed hearts and minds for the better. However, like all humans, though we gladly accept and believes in the Lord, but we are prone to backslide from that which is right, if the truth is not upheld. Such was the case with the Galatians, may their story then, be a lesson to us now. Before the verse is addressed, it is important to see the urgency and the danger when a believer is in the state of doing that which is wrong, the act of backsliding. Thus, it is expressed in the third chapter of the Book of Galatians. (Galatians 3:1) O foolish Galatians, who hath bewitched you, that ye should not obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you? They once knew the truth, but now they are bewitched, the idea of bewitched here is one giving themselves over to that which is harmful, willingly, like an amphibian or a smaller animal watching the caudal luring of a snake using its tail as something pleasing to the prey. The prey will then set on a new path to draw closer to the snake while watching the tail and being amused. The snake cunningly waits until its prey is in a striking distance, then attack, captured and killing its prey. Such is the believer that is backsliding from the right path being bewitched, without a change of course, destruction lies ahead. However, like the Galatians, they were once again called to remembrance of that which is right. Before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth, crucified among you, that is to say, they once had a clear description of the death of Jesus Christ on the Cross and its importance, as the only way to a victorious Christian living. As it was the Holy Spirit's attempt to draw men back to the truth, may these words serve in the same authority for today, through these expositions. Exposition of Galatians 2:20 Justified by Faith I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. (Galatians 2:20) The eight points of interest to restore the backslider and strengthen the believer. I am crucified with Christ nevertheless I live Yet not I Christ liveth in me The life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God Who loved me Gave himself for me I am crucified with Christ Let the believer know this, I was crucified with Christ. His death on the Cross, was a death of sacrifice and ransom, it showed me, without His death, there is no salvation. Consequently, without salvation, there will be no sanctification and without sanctification there is no glorification. Therefore, I am as truly dead to all expectation of justification by the law, nothing I can earn by works. The amount of scriptures I read a day, the hours I pray each time, fasting, or a certain day I go to Church. None of these and more play any role in justification. Without demeaning them, but how can he who is dead perform a task for a reward? He or she cannot, hence, I am crucified with Christ. So then, shall we waste away into nothingness as believers? Certainly not, this brings in the second point of interest. Nevertheless I live This is to be understood in such manner, though I am dead to the flesh, but I am alive spiritually. I am not to be inactive; nor insensible. I am dead to the things of the flesh, but alive spiritually. How is this done? The third point of interest gives an insight into this. Yet not I The paradox of being dead and alive is expressed through these three simple, but all-powerful words. "Yet not I." Though I live, but it is not of my natural life I speak of. For in my previous life were pride, animosity, greed, anger, hate, lust, selfishness and the likes. I am dead to those things now. Nevertheless, I live; yet not I. Though I live, it is not my life, consequently, the will of Christ, is my will, for it is His life that I am partaking of. The principles of life and holiness seen in me, it is not of me, but by the Spirit; therefore, all things right in me, are not of me, but by His power and strength, through the grace of God. How is such new life sustained? Christ lives in me Forasmuch as, Christ is the author of my new life in Him, for it was on the Cross my old life was crucified. Shall He give me a new life and walk away from me? God forbid. Christ lives in me, to sustain me. I shall not lack, with Him all that He have, is all that I need. Am I perfected because Christ lives in me? The 5th point of interest gives an answer. The life which I now live in the flesh Though Christ lives in me through the Holy Spirit, but I am reminded constantly I am still in the flesh. The flesh cannot be perfected, but it can be maintained to abide in the order of perfection. This stage of maintaining an imperfect flesh to abide in perfection it is a daily task, but it is temporary. Hence, the use of the adverb "now," which implies a present state, while denoting a future to come. This future is where the necessities of the flesh will be no more. The cares and anxieties of this life will be no more. Until then, the life which I now live in the flesh, is an ongoing sanctification, not by my will but through the Lord Jesus Christ. I am reminded, faithful is He that calleth you, who also will do it. (1 Thessalonians 5:24) These I accept, but what can I do as a believer? The only "doing" or an act by the believer is expressed in the 6th point of interest. I live by the faith of the Son of God That is to say, I live "in faith." All things that are good are done in faith, without faith nothing is done that is good. This faith is only active through the Son of God. The phrase, "the Son of God," reminds us of Christ's divine authority, which can only be made manifest through the acceptance of God's gift to mankind. John 3:16. For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. The giving spoken of here, speaks of a gift as a sacrifice, this takes us back to the Cross. I am crucified with Christ. Therefore, there is no faith without the Cross of Christ. He (Christ) died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto Him which died for them, and rose again. (2 Corinthians 5:15) Many men give gifts, but to the cause of merit and in the moment of gratification, but this I know: Christ loved me God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Considering He loved me before I ever knew Him, what more can He do for me? Little one, I am among men, but to Him I belong; I am weak, but He is strong. Oh yes, Jesus loves me. Everything in the Christian life, its source is in the love of Christ. Understand this and Christ is your Lord, Saviour and a best friend. Without acknowledging this through understanding, Christ is just a man or a master you know not how to please. This I know, He loves me. And gave himself for me Given that He loves me, He gave Himself for me. Once again, this takes us back to the Cross and His death. It started with His death, it ends with His death. Nevertheless, His death was prompted by love. One can never truly know Christ until they realize He loves them, and none can never serve Christ without true love. He gave Himself for me. (1 Peter 3:18) Because even Christ once suffered concerning sins, the just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God; indeed being put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the Spirit. So then, on Calvary Cross I laid my past, crucified with Christ, yet by His Spirit I am alive. Dead to the Law but alive in Christ. Without faith it is impossible to please God. The object of our faith is looking to Christ by understanding what He has done for me on the Cross, for the pardon of sin, and the receiving of His righteousness. Then comes, peace, joy, comfort, every supply of grace, and an eternal fellowship with Him. As we believe, the Holy Spirit shall lead. FOR THE LAW OF THE SPIRIT OF LIFE IN CHRIST JESUS HAS MADE ME FREE FROM THE LAW OF SIN AND DEATH. (Romans 8:2)124133
- An exposition on the temptation of Jesus. In A variety of Expositions ·November 30, 2019A three-part series According to the recollection of Matthew. For this segment, we will look at the second temptation of Christ. The position of Christ. His response during the time of temptation. The lesson we ought to learn today. Therein, we read; the devil took Him (Christ) up into the holy city, and sets Him on a pinnacle of the temple, And said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give His angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone. Matthew 4:5-6 The phrase, the devil took Him up into the holy city, is far from a mental state wherewith our Lord simply thought on these things. On the contrary, this was carried out in the physical, as His fasting previously was real, so was His temptation. A genuine love of God must be proven to withstand the test of time. So then, one might inquire, He is the Christ, why must the Devil take Him up? To better understand the situation is to look closely at the phrase “taketh him up” or took. In the Greek language, the phrase implies to the idea of one going along the side of another. Therefore, in no ways was Christ forced by the Devil against His will, nor was He mystically carried away without His consent. For He said, Satan has nothing in me. Though our Lord endures the tremendous pressure of this sinful world, but let us know, He endures that we may prevail. If we being humans are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed. 2 Corinthians 4:8-9 What more about Christ our Perfection? For in him dwells all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. Colossians 2:9 That is to say, in Him there is continuously and permanently at home all the fullness of absolute deity in bodily fashion. It was once said, He laid aside His deity, without losing the possession of His deity. He became like us, but without sinning, nor taking on our sinful nature that His righteousness may be imputed to us. This we know, temptation is not a sin, only when the wrongdoing of the temptation is embraced, then the temptation becomes sin. The more we know, in knowing the will of God for us, the less we stumble. In this, the Lord said, I must be about my Father’s business. Therein, nothing else matters, but the will of the Father to be carried out. He was taken to the temple, for in all good men dwells the desire to ascend to a virtual state of perfection with God. Nevertheless, the desire to do good, but without the awareness, and reverence of God, man is vulnerable to failure, wherewith they are deceived to achieve. Herein we learn, let us keep our eyes on the Lord, and not on the desire of our hearts, lest we be deceived by what we see. Like Christ, at the pinnacle of the temple, He saw the glory of the temple and all that it had to offer. All things He saw and more, were to be His, but only by the will of God. Thus, He replied, it is written again, thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God. He wasn't to be lifted up by religion, by the means of the pinnacle of the temple, but He was to be lifted up through the suffering on the Cross. For out of His suffering, comes the glory of God, unto all who would believe, and freely receive. Having received this revelation, beware, your temptation is lurking ahead. Therefore, keep your eyes on the Lord, lest you be deceived.124113

- AMERIHOLLOW (Teaser)In Happening Now·September 8, 2020So far we’ve come to learn about the outskirt dwellers. The outskirt is home to Tommy, Jack, and Mrs. Fiducia and the others, but the reason they lived outside of any of the cities remains a mystery. However, we got a little insight after the late-night dinner with Jack, his son Tommy, at Mrs. Fiducia’s humble dwelling. As you recalled, at the end of the meal, she asked Jack to help her bring down the dessert from the rooftop, this was her way of protecting Thomas as she would call Tommy, from the news which wasn’t a good news. The happening of this occurred while Jack and Tommy were out in the badlands shuffling through the waste, for items to trade with others in the outskirt. This was what we last read: She stood in the doorway waiting for him, walking out together, she closed the door while looking back, and making sure all was well with Thomas at the table. Jack was a tall man, there stood Mrs. Fiducia looking up at him, he knew something was on her mind, more than a dessert. He was right. Then she said to him; they were spotted earlier. Instinctively he knew what she meant. Before the outskirt became a community of dwellers, it was a place of constant assaults of raids and attacks. Who were the attackers? What was the reason of attacking people who had almost nothing? Where did they come from? Were they all the same people, but with different lives? Who were victims of the raids? Is this why Mrs. Fiducia is without a family? What became of those who fell victims to the raids? All of these cannot be answered now, but we will gain an insight through a short discussion among a few broken men, broken they were, and hurt and separated from their family. Who are these men, were they taken from the outskirt through one of the raids? Are they related to any of the main Characters we have come to be familiar with? A bit from their discussion: After hours of silence, for these men and boys were broken, they were broken of hope knowing they failed to defend freedom. The freedom they so cherished in their part of their world. Now, they must be a part of another world, a world wherewith they are the conquered. Still uncertain of what the future holds, yet without the desire to look forward. Their reality of their past with friends and families was uncertain as well. No longer was their life a reality, but all seems like a dream that was abruptly ended. Soon was the silence broken by Buscar: They live their high lives, we live on the outskirt, we are what we are because we have always been. They chose to gain success by any means, even without moral values and the regard of the past. But for us? We are successful when we hold close to our hearts the values of what made us who we are and our families. Yet they called us ignorant and inferior. Why are we here? Why are they taking us to be a part of their grand life? They need us, but we don't need them! A mumbling sound came from the left of the boxcar. They need a few of us to strengthen them, but they are better, or we won't be here, the talk continues, but the voice diminishes as if all hope was being drawn out of him, being left with despair of insanity, the mumbling continues . . .
