  • Protection is preparation

PROTECTION IS PREPARATION God is faithful to protect those who are called by His Name, His people. (Psalms 46:7) For God's people, protection is not a luxury, but rather a provision for proclamation. God did not protect Elijah in the Brook Cherith as a mean of a leisure time during famine and precaution. Neither did He protect Moses from the power of Egypt for 40 years, in order for him to sail into the sunset happily ever after. Instead, when we are protected by God, we learn not to fear those things we feared that we are protected from. That in due time we may learn about the Grace and Power of God and boldly say, Thus saith the LORD God. Like in the lyrics of Ray E. Heady: In The Shelter Of His Arms When my soul was troubled with sorrow And my heart was broken within Jesus opened His arms of mercy And He tenderly took me in There is peace in the time of trouble There is peace in the midst of the storm There is peace though the war be raging In the shelter of His arm There is peace though the war be raging In the shelter of His arms Though this war all around be raging And it is filled with many, many alone Trust in Jesus, He will keep you In the shelter of His arms ⬛ MORE ⬛ In closing, the Words of the Master, is the sure solid foundation. These things I have spoken unto you, that in Me you might have peace. In the world you shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. • What is the Cross to the believer?

The believer and the Cross. In the words of Christ: And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me. (John 12:32) What is the Cross to the believer? For many, the presumption of the Cross is merely the preceding event to Easter. For others, it is the basis of the Gospel, so, they’re inclined to move on to other doctrinal aspects of the Bible, of which they assume isn’t as rudimentary as the Cross. In their search for wisdom to be sophisticated, they become fools. For the wisdom of God is in the power of the Cross. This we read in 1 Corinthians 1:18. For the message about Christ's death on the Cross is nonsense to those who are being lost; but for us who are being saved it is the power of God. Rightly so, the original translation is “being saved.” This does not imply Salvation is daily, no, we were saved once. However, the sustaining of salvation is found in the Cross of Christ. We do not learn away from the Cross, we learn to abide in the Cross, wherewith we are sustained through God’s wisdom. Considering sin is the greatest problem for mankind, but at the Cross sin was defeated, wherewith its power to control and destroy man was broken. However, the source of sin is still present in this world. So then, are we now gurus and perfected to walk away from the Cross? For the many that have walked away from the Cross, or for the lack of understanding of the Cross; they are weary in their Christian life, and are spiritually afflicted without the wisdom of a cure. For they have forsaken God’s wisdom. Though Christ is in their awareness, but they are not drawn unto Him. For He said, if I be lifted up from the earth, I will draw all men unto me. The "lifted up" spoken of here, speaks of His death on the Cross. It was through His death, sin was defeated, and because of His death He was resurrected, then came glorification. So then, it was at the Cross, the power of sin was broken in the believer’s life, through this we are allowed to live the victorious life, or the resurrected life. However, how can one be resurrected without first dying? Spiritually speaking, the flesh must be crucified, and the Cross is the only place the flesh is crucified. Therefore, victory is at the Cross of Christ. ____________________________________ 🎨PSW·3✒©

  • Golgotha (Cross)

In Earth's grand view with many eminent of awe inspiring wonders, including the majestic renowned geographical charms. Its mighty rivers, and those that no longer roar. In the once roaring path, they left traces of wonders, dividing lands, cutting through solid rocks. These things draw men closer, entrancingly so. As do the majestic peaks, towering beyond all things into the cloudy skies with its white snowy crown. Its massive width as a backdrop for all that are in sight. These and many more are entrancing to the mind. Then, there is the obscureness of a place (of our text) that have witnessed the unfolding history of Earth and the Universe, like none other. Yet, it is silent to the natural ears. A quick glance of this place will not enlighten nor suffice as visually pleasing. Yet, it speaks far beyond the ears, it speaks to the soul of men. Man is a being, a living being that perceives. A being that develops, a being with a purpose. So then, how can a purpose be a random act that just happens? A purpose is that which is anticipated. Anticipation is an expectation. An expectation is a belief, a belief is that which is held as true. The truth is, man is a created being by God, with a purpose. Augustine once said; the soul, created for God, will not rest until it rests in God. Indeed, he was right. So then, how can the soul rest in God, considering He is from above and we are from below? Nevertheless, God the Creator chooses not to allow the soul to wander without rest. In His wisdom, He chose this place of silence that speaks to the soul of men. A place not of geographical beauty, neither grand because of its physicality, but a place where the soul of all men can relate. A place called Calvary. A place chosen by God. A place the wandering soul of men may rest. The only place God will meet with men. The meeting place of the Creator and His creation. However, the meaning of such place, at first glance is not of a rosy delight. Calvary or Golgotha, as it is rendered in the Hebrew language. Is a place meaning the place of a skull. A human skull doesn't portray the outward of a man. Rather, it shows the inside of a man. His motives, his conscience and his desires and thoughts. Upon the first glance, it is not a pretty picture. Such is the skull of a man. It is never seen unless there is death. So then, why would God choose such a place, a place of skull to meet with men? To understand God's reason, is to look at men's condition. Although created by God, but man through willfulness, rebelled against God, man became a malefactor. His act of rebellion became the act of sin. Through sin, comes insanity. Wherewith, men lied, causing hurt to another. Cheat, destroying trust. Murder, causing pain and horror to another. Gossip, devouring the character of others. Steal, gaining by the loss of others. Disloyalty, causing anarchy and the lack of love, birthing hate and hate causing separation. Unbelief, causing rejection. Primarily, the rejection of God. All these things and many more are the works of sin. They do not cause the betterment of men, they bring out the worst in men. Yet, men continue to do these things. So then, why is it repeated among men for generations to generations? Because there is an insanity to sin. Insanity is the disorder of the mind. The mind is housed in the inner being of men. Precisely the head, beneath its exterior covering is the skull. Hence, God chooses to meet with men, where the problem resides. In the mind of men. Thereby at the place called Golgotha, meaning skull. In order for a patient to be treated for a problem. He or she must correspond with the physician, to know their problem and the danger thereof. Therefore, God is our great physician, when we meet Him at Calvary, the image of a skull in which it portrays. It is the mirror picture of sinful man at the hands of the Great Physician. The problem must be destroyed. Hence, there is only a skull when there is a death. However, can a man dies and learn a lesson? Absolutely not. Therefore, God in His wisdom chooses to die in the place of men, but God is a Spirit, He cannot die. Thereby He took on the form of a man. The man Christ Jesus. That He might take away our sin, by destroying the insane sinful mind and making available a new mind. The payment of sin is death. So, Christ paid the price through His death on the Cross. One might ask why it has to be death as a payment? We live in a world govern by laws. Laws that are set in place by God, which must be carried out to achieve a result. An example: imagine darkness and imagine light. They are two entities of their kind, to eradicate darkness, light must be present. That is an established law, light cancels darkness. The absence of a matter is space. Likewise the result of sin is death. But what gain shall it be with a man that he should die to learn a lesson? He cannot learn. However, Christ died on the Cross in place of all of mankind. The death of the Cross, was the death given to a felon, but Christ who was perfect and knew no sin nor did any wrong. He took the place of sinful man. Today, Calvary stands as the most eminent of all awe inspiring wonders on Earth, and the Cosmos beyond because man does not have to physically go to Israel to experience the wonders of Calvary. Instead, Calvary reaches out to the soul of all men. Though externally we differ, looks, ethnicity, locations and race, but internally we all faced the same problems and there is, but one solution. God's plan for humanity, Jesus Christ. He who died for our sins. Yet, He lives again and forever. An adventurer might express his delight in travelling the width and breadth of the icy wonders of the Antarctica, but how shall the African in the jungle of Africa who have never seen any snow relate to such? Or an explorer can boast of his or her greatest feat of exploring the Himalayas and climbing the top of Mount Everest, but how can a person who despises height appreciate such feat? But for those who have experience Calvary, they can share with anyone, anywhere, how Jesus Christ died for their sins and He has open a portal to God and a meeting place with God, that whatsoever problem can be brought to the Cross on Calvary and that problem or problems shall be taken care of. Everyone anywhere can relate to that because in the inner being of all mankind is a lack and want. A void only Christ can fill. He breathed the soul and created man. The soul, created for God, will not rest until it rests in God. At Calvary, we see beauty beyond the great mountains, of majestic proportions. At Calvary, we see beyond the beauty of the clear visibilities of the prairie. At Calvary, we see beyond the beauty of Earth's flowing rivers. The beauty seen at Calvary is the gratitude felt, at the place of a skull. Therewith our problems are crucified with Christ. Yet, we live, but we live because we are free from the penalty of sin which is death. Which Christ took on our behalf because he loved us, and give Himself for us. Although we were not present and many will never get the chance to see the place of Calvary, but it left a trace of wonders, not of division, but of unity that all may follow therein by faith. Through faith we perceive, so the life which we now live, we live by faith in Christ Jesus who loved us and give Himself for us. The barrier of sin that once separated us from God is broken down. The insanity of sin that once drove us, is laid down at the foot of the Cross. There at the Cross we abide and receive the continuous act of the renewing of our mind. Forsaking our human will, which led us to wander. Forsaking dependence on self by drawing to Calvary for a total dependence on Him. He who is dependent is provided for, if man can provide for another, what more about God? He certainly shall provide all our needs, if we meet Him at Calvary. ____________________________________ 🎨PSW·3✒© For more, check out the RESOURCES page and MISCELLANEOUS writings Go to HOME BOOKS RESOURCES NAMES QUOTATIONS &MORE

  • Angels, what are they?

Angels, what are they? The key to understanding most words is to first know the root of the word. Then the definition followed by the function of the word. In this case, angel. The word angel comes from the Greek word anggelos, meaning messenger. The corresponding Hebrew word is malakh equally means messenger. From a broader sense, a human can be a messenger, but in this case of interest the focus is on the created beings with individuality who exist in the spiritual dimension, but are not limited to the physical universe. The reality of a parallel universe of the unseen (spiritual), and the physical, is far more than a wild imagination. These two coexist, which is far beyond the natural human ability to comprehend. Nevertheless, the lack of understanding is not a validation to dismiss the unknown as a fable. This we know, angels are far superior than that of men. Yet in the order of creation, man is placed second next to the Godhead above the angels. The position of men above the angels does not grant authority over the angels. Neither do the superiority of angels in relation to men justify the worshiping of angels. As man was created so were the angelic host. He who is the Creator, through Him all things must be given and from Him all expectancy is delivered, Him alone through supplications. These beings witnessed the creation of the physical world as we know it. That is to say, their realm did exist before ours came into being. Virtually all things that have transpired in this world is first carried out in the unseen world, the spirit world is the driving force behind the physical world. Illustratively speaking now, we are in a physical body, but the acts of the physical body are first enacted within our being, which is the spirit of man. Though we touch with our hands, but we feel from within before the hands physically translate the deeds of the soul. We move by our actions, but the physical body is only as a vehicle enacting the will of the mind, which is within and unseen. Like the spirit world in relation to the physical world, as stated; the spirit world is the driving force behind the physical world. Although not all things are of a direct angelic control. Wherever these beings are, the effect is by far greater than that of a typical human, for good or bad. For the good, the task of righteous angels carrying out the will of God on earth through good deeds as a messenger and protector. On the contrary, for the bad, fallen angels and their territorial obsession, keeping men in captive through the occult for the lack of understanding, people perish. One may ask, if these superior beings of the spirit realm do have an enormous effect in our physical world, why aren’t they seen like men are? To further understand the answer to the question is to understand the nature of these beings. Unlike men with egos, righteous angels are defined by their destination, meaning that which they are called to do, it is what they do. Without distraction, they attend to the task that is at hand and that only. Their appearance is in part based on the time of their visit and the place of their visit. For where on earth could humanity withstand a being fully in its true appearance and glory that have been in existence for eons? Imagine the contradiction of looks between them and us and their abilities. Therefore, it is fair to say they take on the form of the time of their visit and the people to whom they are sent that their work may be carried out without bringing attention to themselves. Remember they are for the most part messengers. A good messenger placed the call of the message over his will. Whereas fallen angels, of whom their allegiance is to the evil one, concealed their identity for their deeds are evil, lest men know who they truly are. They present themselves to be gods to lead men astray for their vain glory. What we now know is only a glimpse of the wonders unknown to us, but what we have learned is an evidence that there is a spiritual universe that exists alongside our universe which we barely know. Where wisdom is earned, wisdom must be sincerely pursued, lest there arise speculation and misunderstanding, which are the reversals of learning. Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares. (Hebrews 13:2 KJV) Beyond all, God is the ultimate ruler of all, the invisible and the visible. ____________________________________ 🎨PSW·3✒© > CONTINUE HERE < Go to HOME BOOKS RESOURCES NAMES QUOTATIONS &MORE

  • Dreams, are they all meaningful or meaningless?

That which we lack discernment of, is usually that which we ignore and sometimes fear, or deem unnecessary. Nevertheless, as a child of God, we do not have the spirit of fear, neither do we serve a God of confusion nor limitations. He is (omniscient) all knowing. Although, we in ourselves are not all knowing like He is, but since He loves us we can rest assured He will lead us in all truth and transparency, by such means the world might consider unnecessary, like dreams. They are more than the human subconscious imbedded in an idle mind through sleep. However, we are not to use dreams as an intermediate portal between us and God. Nevertheless, because God is all knowing, let it be Him who use dreams to communicate with us as He see fit, and when He does, let us acknowledge and take heed to that which we receive and sincerely act upon it. With care and admonition. Let us dream dreams but the dream of God. Though man will try to kill these dreams. Yet, it shall come to pass if we believe and rest in the finished work of Christ. Let us dream dreams, though it be characteristic of the heathen world, and thus labeled as superstition, but dream in its origination as recorded in the chronological record of the Scriptures, is originally from God, and in times has served as a precaution to preserve the godly believer. (Genesis 20:3) God’s promise of protection, provision and blessings during a time of uncertainty Genesis 28:12. Preparation before perilous times Genesis 41:25. Encouragement in time of a great fear Judges 7:15. In closing, the 300-year-old words of Henry come to mind. It has withstood the test of time and resonate with the reader today as it was, when it was written in the 1700s. It is applicable today due to its inspired scriptural foundation. In these, he wrote; The more we abound in God's work the more comfort we may expect in him; if the day has been busy for him, the night will be easy in him. Silence and retirement befriend our communion with God. His kindest visits are often in the night, Psalm_17:3. 3. The manner. It was in a dream, when he was asleep, his senses locked up, that God's access to his mind might be the more free and immediate. In this way, God used to speak to the prophets (Numbers_12:6) and to private persons, for their own benefit, Job_33:15, Job_33:16. ____________________________________ 🎨PSW·3✒© Go to HOME BOOKS RESOURCES NAMES QUOTATIONS &MORE

  • The perception of affliction

Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you: (1 Peter 4:12) My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations. (James 1:2) The joy of the temptation or affliction, persecution, or trial and discomfort we feel, these do not bring forth joy in the life of the believer. The joy however spoken of here is the understanding of the time and the circumstances in which we are tempted, by seeing beyond the problem, we shall know there is a solution; then shall the troubled mind find relief by faith. The deception of the enemy at times is to use of the natural to cause the affliction we suffer. Therefore, though we think we understand the burden that we bear due to the natural acts that transpire before us. Yet, these things, though they are real, but they are not the source of that which we endure, but it is a trap against the mind to keep us in a place of suffering wherewith the solution is not found. By looking at the natural circumstance of our temptation or affliction, persecution, or trial of discomfort, we forsake walking after the Spirit, which is the leading of the Holy Spirit. In so doing, we beheld the things of the natural and battle in our mind by the means to bring about a change. A change we anticipate bringing about through a natural act because we perceive that which we endure is natural. Therefore, though we love God, yet we feel our problem is not spiritual, but natural. By so doing we fail to take it to the Lord in prayer, instead we seek within our own natural ability to bring about a change. A change that will not be brought forth, but the mind is unaware of the trap wherewith it is in. Therefore, the carnal mind fights a battle, but a failing battle which is not spiritual. This we ought to know, (for the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ. (2 Corinthians 10:4-5) The situation wherewith we find ourselves at times, it is but a test. As to how we perceive the situation by the means in which the situation is handled, this will greatly affect the duration of the situation, or the peace during the storm. Based on whom we believe and our approach. Therefore, to whom do we believe? In God, and how shall we approach the situation? Take it to the Lord. Lean not to your own understanding. He saved us not to watch us perish, for He SAVES, He shall provide. For He is Jehovah-Jireh. Like in the words of Magdalene Crocker Life is like a mighty sea So tossed and driven. Billows rise within the heart of every man Storms so many times will Leave the heart with questions But I don’t need to understand Just hold His hand. 🎶🎶 ____________________________________ 🎨PSW·3✒©

  • Just as I am

Gospel in the song The uniqueness of Christianity is countless, and its universal impacts with its teachings are woven into the fiber of society, all pointing to the Creator and His love for His creation. Upon the Gospel we perceive these and more. One of the expressions of being a Christian is the joy expressed in the life of the believer. Where there is joy, the soul glory in the expression of songs and singing praises to the Lord. Singing is worship and true worship is the gratification of the inward man being expressed outward. However, in a world of immorality, hurt and grief, at times, difficult is the expression of gratification and praise to God. There is a hindrance by what we see in the world and what the world is to us and what we have become to the world. Such was Charlotte Elliott, an English poet, hymn writer and editor of the 1800s. Despite being raised in a Christian home, there were struggles and doubts within her. Due to her failure at an early age to live a righteous life, there were doubts and uncertainty of her relationship with Christ. Even for today, there are multiple of Christians worldwide, who find themselves in such condition. Nevertheless, instead of us focusing on our many problems and imperfections, may we focus on the love of God toward us. For where there is true love, there is the tendency to do that which is right. Like Charlotte Elliott, when all the great Christian disciplines could not change her condition, she came to Christ just as she was. In her writing, which is one of the most beloved hymns of Christendom, she wrote these words. Just as I am, without one plea, But that Thy blood was shed for me, And that Thou bid’st me come to Thee, O Lamb of God, I come! I come! Just as I am, and waiting not To rid my soul of one dark blot; To Thee whose blood can cleanse each spot, O Lamb of God, I come, I come! Just as I am, though tossed about With many a conflict, many a doubt; Fighting within, and fears without, O Lamb of God, I come, I come! Just as I am, poor, wretched, blind; Sight, riches, healing of the mind; Yes, all I need, in Thee to find, O Lamb of God, I come, I come! Just as I am, Thou wilt receive, Wilt welcome, pardon, cleanse, relieve; Because Thy promise I believe, O Lamb of God, I come, I come! Just as I am, Thy love unknown Has broken every barrier down; Now, to be Thine, yea, Thine alone, O Lamb of God, I come, I come! 🎶🎶 So, just as we are, let us come to Him. He has promised, He will receive, He will welcome, pardon, cleanse, relieve. His love has broken every barrier down. Just as I am, to you alone I come. O Lamb of God, I come, I come! ____________________________________ 🎨PSW·3✒©

  • Power over Tradition

The believer being a part of a church of this day and age, isn’t forbidden. However, a church without faithful believers is an assembly of nothingness. Therefore, let us as individuals seek the Lord earnestly and listen to His call, in order to avoid putting the emphasis of the power of God with the marking of a building, or a denomination. Instead, may we come to the realization of knowing His power is the evidence of a Spirit filled individual. In that, wherever we gather, there He will be with us. In the words of Christ, behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear My voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and He with me. (Revelation 3:20) The Lord Jesus Christ isn’t knocking on the door of a church or denomination. Christ is standing at the door of the individual believer, which is the heart of the believer, wanting to come in, to be one with the believer. So then, wherever we are as a believer, the wayside or a church. Christ shall be our focus. The evidence shall be His power, but not the tradition of gathering on a Sunday, or a specific day of worship. Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with Me. ____________________________________ 🎨PSW·3✒© Frequently Asked Question

  • Christian disciplines

Christian discipline is the expression of the present of faith, but discipline is not necessarily faith, but if done right, it is the evidence of the existence of true faith. Secondly, Christian disciplines are tools that can only be sincerely developed through Sanctification, meaning when the Lord works in you His will, then these tools are brought forth. Case in point, your desire to read and study the Word, your love for a deeper prayer time. With Sanctification from the Lord, these things and more becomes a reality in our lives, but without Sanctification they are virtually nonexistent. So then if these tools we called Christian disciplines, are only properly developed through Sanctification, of which we cannot sanctify ourselves, therefore, they cannot bring about the changes we need; only if we are sanctified and sanctification is from the Lord. Through this comes the progression of changes. The misunderstanding for us all at a point in our lives is that the disciplines are used as a means for Sanctification. Or for those of whom are still in the struggle of the error of use of the disciplines; the perception remains the same. Knowing it is the Lord who saved us when we couldn’t save ourselves, nevertheless, He is neglected when the believer tries to enact a certain work, or works in their life to bring about a change. Variety of Christian disciplines. Fasting Praying Fellowship Confession Reading Church duties These and more, are not to be forsaken, however the use of any of these and the likes to obtain anything from the Lord is borderline manipulation. A good parent is delighted when the child does the right thing, but the parent love toward the child is not predicated on the working of the child, but to love, provide and raise the child on the path of becoming a capable adult. Understanding Faith before works For an example, we look to the beginning of our faith. This we see in the account of Abraham, he believed God, then righteousness was imputed to him. Through this, Abraham the Patriarch went on to do those things that were right and pleasing in the sight of God. True faith will produce works, of which some are Christian disciplines, but the works and disciplines are the fruits of faith. It will be unwise to eat a fruit from a tree once and then cut it down. Soon the fruit will be consumed without any replenishment thereof. Symbolically speaking, the tree represents our faith and the fruits represent the result of our faith. Should the focus be on the fruits and not the wellbeing of the tree, the representation of our faith in the Lord which bring forth the fruits? So then, the reason for who we are in the Lord and the potential to grow and continue in the faith is not predicated on what we do, but what we believe. For if we believe right, then we will do that which is right. Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith. (That which we believe) (Romans 3:27) So let no one make rules about what you eat or drink or about holy days or the New Moon Festival or the Sabbath. All such things are only a shadow of things in the future; the reality is Christ. Do not allow yourselves to be condemned by anyone who claims to be superior because of special visions and who insists on false humility and the worship of angels. For no reason at all, such people are all puffed up by their human way of thinking ____________________________________ 🎨PSW·3✒©

  • New Year, and the resolution for changes.

With time comes experience, the awakening of awareness. Through awareness, the mind apprehends the condition and the state of the individual. Humanity was created, created in perfection, male and female they were. Consequently, regardless of one’s acceptance, or rejection, or the denial of God, nevertheless, within the individual is the endeavor for a change for perfection. For he or she, they were created in perfection by God. For those that are saved, perfection is a process, a process that is predicated upon condition and position. Our position in Christ as a Christian is perfect, meaning we are what we are because of who He is, the perfect Savior. Our position of perfection shall never change if we abide with the Lord. However, our condition isn’t always steady. Nevertheless, due to the believer’s perfect position in Christ, there will come a time when the believer’s position and condition shall par in perfection, wherewith those things that easily beset us shall be no more, and the desire of our hearts shall be made known. Illustratively speaking for a precise understanding, if a wealthy family of royalty adopted a child of the street, the child is instantly one of the royal family members. This is the position spoken of, they are a perfect royal family. Although the child may not feel like a royalty, at times its position will waver. Being a royalty, while reverting to the nature of the street, wherewith they were once removed. However, if the child stays and grow, there will come a time when their condition shall no more be the impulse of the street, but the adaptation of royalty. Such is the Christian life, He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in Him will I trust. (Psalms 91:1-2) Christ is our path to that Royal family and He is the embodiment of the family His very presence guarantees forgiveness and restoration completely on our part. Therefore, when God looks at us, He sees perfection, which is the perfection of Christ our representative man, He ever lives, meaning because He lives, we can face tomorrow, therefore, life is worth the living. Unless the individual removes themselves from the shadow of the Almighty, they are forever protected. Where there is protection there is Grace, with Grace comes mercy and the giving of forgiveness. Forgiveness is love, and love is patient, if He is patient in working on us, let us by faith endure the changes we perceive on a daily basis. Though we fail at times, but we forget those things we have done. Look to the source for the change rather than the reason for the change which is the failure. For those that are fighting the good fight of faith, be not weary in well doing. Let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not. (Galatians 6:9) Knowing this according to Hebrew 7:25, the Lord ever lives to make intercession for us. Our gratitude for His intercession on our behalf isn’t how often He pleads our case of failures, but because He ever lives, grace and mercy are instantaneously imputed unto us. Though the world set goals and a New Year resolution, be it not a crime, but for unto us which are saved, this we know; Only believe, only believe, all things are possible, only believe. Lord, I BELIEVE. ____________________________________ 🎨PSW·3✒© Related topics, Changes, Keep swinging, the Giant will fall

  • The dilemma from a twisted society runs by hypocritical leaders of the Law.

The presence of a dilemma is the evidence of what was one acceptable, but it’s now in a state of ruin, or it is in an unsuitable condition. Therewith, the state of uncertainty or perplexity is present; the decision to choose is bounded between equally unfavorable options. For this reason, individuals are divided in their position of choice, regarding the dilemma at hand. The dilemma in this case of interest is Capital Punishment, wherewith the guilty party of a first-degree murder is put to death as a legal penalty. As society progresses with time and innovation and collaboration, the overview of its people is that of a civilized generation. No longer are men placed in an arena or a setting to fight to the death; nor battle against the beasts of the wild in an ultimate life and death, for the cause of a public execution through entertainment. Therefore, modern society appraises itself, as civilized, inclusive and not barbaric. Nevertheless, modern society has erected many ways of taking away the life of another than ever before. The discussion of life for life, or an eye for an eye, it wasn’t the idea of God’s perfect creation. However, due to degradation and sin, this discussion is a reality and a dilemma. Noah Webster defines a dilemma as; A difficult or doubtful choice; a state of things in which evils or obstacles present themselves on every side, and it is difficult to determine what course to pursue. For the rejection of God, the hearts of men are vacant to the indwelling of all things contrary to God, by the acceptance of evil; man kills man. The consequence of this is outlined in the first book of the Bible, Genesis 9:6. Which reads, whoever sheds man's blood, by man shall his blood be shed: for in the image of God made He man. Or this is also render; Human beings were made like God, so whoever murders one of them will be killed by someone else. So, he who premeditatedly takes the life of another, eventually his life will be taken. However, with the dispensation of government, the enforcement of a legal verdict is not to be carried out by the individual. Instead, legal enforcement is the business of the government, but for many modern governments, the idea of God is offensive, the God of the Bible. Therefore, they dismiss God from their governing. Since they refuse to keep in mind the true knowledge about God, He has given them over to corrupted minds, so that they do the things that they should not do. With the long list of unseemly acts comes the disregard for the human life. The antidote to such atrocity has been the guilty party of a first-degree murder is put to death as a legal penalty. Many will cringe at such idea of Capital Punishment, life for a life. Thus, in all society among the people there is a division. There are those who accept it as a legal justice, while there others who reject such an idea. It is easy to oppose Capital Punishment, by saying it is immoral, but it is difficult to cope for the family, who cruelly lost a loved one by the hands of a person who shows no regard for the life of the victim before and after the crime. So then, who is right in their rejection or acceptance? This is the dilemma of a twisted society. President Calvin Coolidge once said, I sometimes wish that people would put a little more emphasis upon the observance of the law than they do upon its enforcement. Indeed, he was right. However, when God is not the center of Society, the moral compass of man is no longer obligated to the righteousness of God. Rather, morality is replaced with immorality, feuds by uncontrollable indulgence without consequences. Thereby, harm is Inflicted on others without remorse. If men loved God with all His heart and all his soul, shall he harm his fellow man? No, consequently there would be no need for the acceptance of Capital Punishment or the rejection thereof. In recent months (early 2019) States leadership within the United States, moved toward the abolishment of the Death penalty, or the temporary halts thereof. By the consent of Public Relations, this will be seen as a milestone of a civilized society. Nevertheless, most of the same leadership who opposed Capital Punishment will agree to terminate the life of an unborn baby in the womb, or after it is born, without giving it its first chance. For its only crime is being conceived into a society where the decision to live or to die is predicated on its own parents. The same modern society teaches its young that existence is without a purpose, but they are from the descendants of animals. Their young ones and young men grow up and act like animals of which there are supposedly descendants of. Yet, modern society has been baffled as to why would anyone commit atrocities unspeakable. In Biblical days, God instructed His people to establish cities of refuge. These cities represent Jesus Christ in types, in which we will discuss. They were a place of sanctuary, wherewith those who were guilty of manslaughter would flee. In the city of refuge, the manslayer found safety. Today, those who are guilty of sin and acknowledge their wrongdoing, in Christ they will find refuge, from the penalty of sin. The guilty party was safe, as long the individual stays within the limits of the city. Today, may we flee from our wrong doing and dwell in the presence of the Lord. The individual was to stay in the city of refuge until the death of the high priest (The high priest symbolizes the Law) and it demanded the death of the manslayer (the sinner) So, the death of the high priest claimed the liberation of the manslayer (sinner). Today, Christ, our High Priest, His death on the Cross, Satisfied the demand of the Law. The wages of sin were against us all, but Christ, the Gift to humanity removes the penalty of sin which is death, to all who will find refuge in Him. Shall man not do good, if he is taught that there is a God of righteousness, and to Him we owe our accountability for our actions, yet He is willing to help? For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. John 3:16-17 These are the elements of life and living, but for the rejection of God, society is blind, thereby it is faced with its never-ending dilemma. ____________________________________ 🎨PSW·3✒©

  • The Deception of the occult, to blend with Christianity.

Through divination, foretelling and the likes. Before the Christian dive unknowingly into these things, he or she ought to know the reason for the Word of God toward men. In a nutshell, the Bible served as the account of man’s redemption from a fallen state, to a place of excellence. Wherewith mankind once began, but due to the degradation of sin, physically, mentally and spiritually, the essence of being a human has eroded the human race to a place of detrimental erosion and decline; of which our mind cannot fully comprehend how great man and woman were once created. However, through the revelation of the Scriptures, comes understanding. Not an instantaneous understanding of all things, but therein the individual is set on a path to know right from wrong and the truth from deception. Without which, the human race cannot clearly see what wretched state it is in. Therefore, it’s vulnerable to another influence, other than God. For how can they perceive, if they know not that they were created by God, in love and perfection to be in union with Him? Within all humanity is the unawareness of the desire to return to the original state before the fallen state. Every innovation and breakthrough, in technology, medical, artistry or self-awareness, it is not because mankind is great. Rather, this is the unknown awareness of greatness within the human race that was once lost and it is now attempted to be regained, but in this process, there is good and there is bad. The beginning of all things was good, for God is the first cause, but due to the corruption of some things, bad was separated from the good. This separation of bad from good, was the fall of Satan and the host of other angelic beings. This is not to be confused with the fall of mankind in Eden. Now, with the separation of good and bad, in-between is a chasm. As it was through pride, Satan fell. Mankind fell through disobedience. Between good and bad, lies the human race in its fallen state. On the side of good, is God, reaching out to fallen man to pull humanity from a state of depravity to a restored place of God conscience and the understanding of all that is good. On the side of bad, is Satan and the host of fallen angels, in an attempt to deceive and destroy the fallen human race. Their intentions are evil, and the means of which it is carry out is diabolical, but their abilities that are now corrupted were once given to them by God to be used for good. So, at times, some of these abilities are presented to mankind as deception, wherewith they appear to be angels of light. Such examples as levitation, they covertly twist scriptures and say, Christ ascended to Heaven, therefore levitation is Scripture. Another is apportation - the ability to teleport inanimate objects or beings from one location to another. Again, they will twist the truth with deception, and allege, Philip of Acts, a man of God was bodily transported in space and time, in an instance from one location to another (Acts 8:39-40) therefore, apportation is just fine they alleged Or astral projection – a term of an occultly understanding wherewith the human body is separated through an out-of-body experience. The physical body is stationed in one place, while the awareness of the individual is removed from the shell of the body to explore other places, or another dimensions. This alone is occultly and mystical, nevertheless, they will cunningly equate the apostle Paul experience of 2 Corinthians 12:2 to such mystical act. When we speak of the pronoun “they,” in reference to fallen angels and Satan, this does not mean these forces of darkness will always appear as human, but their influence is present even through another human at times. So then, even if these mystical acts and deeds are argued to be found in the Scriptures, in an attempt to validate the occult, but to whom is the glory, God or the occult? Such as psychic, spiritist and their spiritism, their origin is not of God, but from the source of which was once long ago separated as bad from the good. So, to this cause and the acceptance therein, the end result leads not to God, as this source is from that which is bad. Ultimately, they that follow shall gravitate toward the side of the separation which is bad, and the end result is not a union of fellowship with God, but to those fallen angels. For God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment. (2 Peter 2:4) Thus, we are told, you shall not attend to those who have in them divining spirits, nor attach yourselves to enchanters, to pollute yourselves with them: I am the Lord your God. (Leviticus 19:31) Of these, having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. (2 Timothy 3:5) ____________________________________ 🎨PSW·3✒©
