- The Tree of Knowledge & The Tree of Life
Study to show yourself approved unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. The greatness of the Word of God is its integrity, by which it is without error nor deception. If contradictions arise, it is the reader’s lack of perception. So then, let it be an opportunity to gain a better insight. The passages below are some of that which we avert, for the lack of understanding, but with a willing mind, they shall be made known. The tree of Knowledge How we perceive knowledge, will determine how knowledge is used for the individual, or the direct impact he or she will have on others. Knowledge is to know, but we can only know when we are presented with that which is to be known. Therefore, human knowledge is limited, for its dependency to a source that must serve as a platform to impart knowledge through experience and observation. Consequently, the origin of Knowledge is the source of all things. The source of all things is the beginning of all things, and this we know; God is the beginning of all things. The lack of understanding is not a validation to dismiss the unknown as a fable. Without reaching out to that one source, though knowledge is obtained at times, yet it cannot perpetuate its true function. For many years, men wondered if there were others like him on the other side of the world. With the increase of knowledge, the world is as one, yet men tried to murder one another. Before the modern Continental means of transportation, men long for the opportunity to reach out to others from across the world. With the introduction of modernized travels by the gain of knowledge, men however, turn to use this means to terrorize others. Though knowledge is present, knowledge is corrupted, for men have forsaken the source of the origin of knowledge which is from God. The realization of good and bad, is the step toward knowledge. For how can the abuser stops the act of abuse and battering without knowing wrong from right, or good from bad? Therefore, society must be presented with the unknown, that the unknown should be made known; which is, in us dwell nothing that is good. Then will the heart cries out, a wretched man I am! Who shall deliver me out of the body of this death? (Romans 7:24) but blessed is the assurance of God; for He has looked down from the height of his sanctuary; from heaven did the LORD behold the earth; To hear the groaning of the prisoner; to loose those that are appointed to death. A knowledge possessed must be a knowledge use in wisdom. Until it is rightly used, the increase of it will lead to the diminish of society, and the bondage of men. The understanding of men expands, but the moral responsibility among men diminish, and the fine line between right from wrong has faded. As it was with our ancestors of old, out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; The Tree of Life also in the midst of the garden, and The Tree of Knowledge of good and evil . (Genesis 2:9) However, therein the Garden they forfeit, the knowing of God for the knowledge of carnal indulgence. Today, may we turn to the new: Tree of knowledge A fix location does not bind it; its roots are like living waters springing forth into men, purging the unconsciousness of the mind, through the renewal of God’s conscience. Through disobedience to the will of God, our ancestors partake of the tree of knowledge, for a self-gratification. Thereby, sin enters the world, they became aware of what they have lost, and what they could have had. Today, as descendants of the fallen race of Adam, the degradation and the penalty of sin are reverted through obedience to God, by a New Tree of Knowledge. This tree of Knowledge, is the Cross of Christ . Wherewith, He (Christ) bare our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes we were healed. (1 Peter 2:24) Dead to sin is being freed from sin. To live unto righteousness , which means doing that which is right. Through His stripes we are healed ; that is to say, Christ suffered that we may be healed, body and soul. Then shall we receive the Tree of Life . Knowing this, (He, Christ) having blotted out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to His Cross (Colossians 2:14) Gladly will the heart rejoice and, sing a song to the Lord, in the words on The Talleys. His heart was broken, mine was mended He became sin, now I am clean. The cross He carried bore my burden. The nails that held Him set me free. His scars of suffering brought me healing He spilled his blood to fill my soul. His crown of thorns made me royalty His sorrow gave me joy untold Until society can see beyond its pride of self-ambition, and the fulfilling of temporal gratifications; that must be satisfied even at the expense of others. Though the progression of knowledge manifest at times, but until knowledge serves as a discernment between right and wrong; good and evil, the love of the many shall grow cold. However, with the Cross, men shall behold the price that was paid, for the remission of sin. Great was the price, therefore great is the degradation wherewith men must be elevated from. Christ gives Himself as a sacrifice to save all, who will believe. Blessed are those who believe to receive the pardon, but for those who reject, the awareness of the degradation of their guilt is present; and the accountability thereof. The Tree which Christ died thereon, to give us life; this is the tree of knowledge. The acceptance of such is life. She is a Tree of life to them that lay hold upon her: and happy is every one that retains her. (Proverbs 3:18) For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish, foolishness; but to us who are saved, it is the power of God. (1 Corinthians 1:18) ____________________________________ 🎨PSW·3✒© > Related topics < Share

Miscellaneous Writings Clarity A Prayer for Clarity and Change Beyond Perception: A Journey of Growth. The Essence of Progress: From Process to Result Share P. S. Wilmot A Quest for True Understanding Lord, thank you for the awareness of your presence in my life, even in times of my limited understanding. Your awareness serves as a reminder to focus amidst the many distractions. Lord, encourage me to see beyond the things that I perceive, for what they truly are. In doing so, the decisions that I face may not be made based on my limited understanding. Through patience and growth, may the decisions I make be acceptable in your presence. My ways are driven by passion, but they often do not lead to a better direction. However, through the recognition of my actions, change is initiated. If I expect to see changes around me, may those changes begin within me. If my actions have caused offense to my fellow men, knowingly or unknowingly, I seek your forgiveness. May I become a better man and mend those broken fences. And if anyone has wronged me, let it not be a distraction that prevents me from seeing the many good things ahead that you have in store for me. Lord, help me to see beyond the things that I perceive, to their true essence. Progress is the formation of new things. May I learn to accept progress. A process will eventually lead to results. Let me learn to look beyond the process to the result. Even when I’m weary, may my strength not be predicated on the tasks I’m undertaking or the progress that is unfolding, but on the results that are yet to come. Strength May the Lord give to you, according to the riches of His glory, with might to be strengthened through His Spirit, in regard to the inner man. - Tell the vision to no man
Study to show yourself approved unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. Tell the vision to no man " TELL NO MAN " Exposition dealing with the scene of the Transfiguration. (Moses Elijah and Jesus) Why did Jesus warn his disciples, not to tell anyone of His power of transfiguration of a radiant, glorious light until after the Cross, and His risen from the dead? (Matthew 17:9) And as they came down from the mountain, Jesus charged them, saying, Tell the vision to no man, until the Son of man be risen again from the dead. Herein, the mind might wonder, Christ is the Messiah, and what has just transpired inferably proves that He is. Yet, He commanded those who have witnessed His transfiguration . . . tell no man. To fully grasp the indication herein, is to fully understand Christ in His totality. Yes, He is God in the flesh, such was evidence as He stood and talked with Elijah and Moses . However, knowing Christ as God with all power does not suffice the knowing of Him in fullness. As He is God in the flesh, He is the suffering Saviour , the perfect man, the perfect Sacrifice , the slain Lamb of God. The Cross was the platform on which Christ the slain Lamb of God was revealed to man. Therefore, unless the believer can understand the importance of the Cross, by seeing Christ in His fullness as God, and as the slain Lamb, the believer can tell no man about Jesus. Although as God, He made all things (John 1:3) and can do all things, but as the slain Lamb, He did saved man. Until this has resonated in the soul of the believer, and the evidence of His resurrection because of His death to save us. Unless these things be fully risen in the life of the believer, the believer can tell no man of Christ. Those the Lord commanded to tell no man of what they have seen were, Peter, James and John . These three represent the platform from which the Gospel of Jesus Christ would go forth, and many more did follow, such as the apostle Paul , along with every true believer of today. Therefore, what was spoken to them, must be heard by us today. The message of the preachers for today and the conversation among today's believers, is not to glory in outward personifications, nor ritualistic practices. For the words of the Lord to them was, tell the vision to no man, until the Son of man be risen again from the dead . (This speaks of the Cross) Therefore, Christ can never be risen in us until we accept the fact that He first died for us. If Christ died for us, His death represents our incapability and dependence on Him. Therefore, he who is dependent on another, must abide and trust that his or her needs will be met. So shall be the believer’s relationship with God. We can only get to such place by denying self , by trusting in God for all things. Then, shall we tell all men of the greatness of Him (Jesus) that they too may retire from their repetition of vain works and their ritualistic practices for the fear of superstition. For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. __________________________________ 🎨PSW·3✒© >> For interaction, check the Blog version here << or > Explore more < Share

- Names and its significance, awalkingnewman.com
Names and their significance T he word "name" from a basic definition is, that by which a thing is called. However, from a Biblical perspective, a name served more than an identification, it portrays the reputation of a character or a thing; Or a sign in relation to its surroundings or a giving time. Names that were directly linked with God, were of a significant revelation. An example would be the grandfather of Noah, named Methuselah, though he is primarily known to be the longest-lived human. However, the insight to his name is a revelation to behold. His name means - WHEN HE IS DEAD IT SHALL BE SENT. What shall be sent? The longer he lives, the more the grace of God was seen in the earth. Upon his death; came the flood.
