Troublesome Waters
Troublesome waters . . . around me do roll
Rocking this boat, tempting my soul
Love ones are drifting, toward living in sin
Troublesome waters . . . are pulling them in
Gently I feel the touch of God’s hand, guiding my boat . . . to that better land
Leading the way, to Heaven’s bright shore
Troublesome waters . . . I’m feeling no more
Troublesome waters . . . are blacker than night
Hiding from view, the harbor's bright lights
Tossed in the turmoil, of life's stormy sea . . . I cry to my Saviour, have mercy on me
Gently I feel the touch of God’s hand, guiding my boat, to that better land
Leading the way, to Heaven's bright shore
Troublesome waters . . . I'm fearing no more
Gently I feel the touch of God’s hand, guiding my boat . . . to that better land
Leading the way, to Heaven's bright shore
Troublesome waters . . . I'm fearing no more
Troublesome waters . . . I'm fearing no more
The trouble and toils of life are felt, but the assurance of the Lord’s ever presence awareness and protection will endure forever. Though many stumble for the faint of heart, but let us hold on for that better land to Heaven’s bright shore.
